Got rejected the first time. Photo background wasn’t white enough apparently. The status changed to “additional documents required” after two days of waiting. Had to retake everything and upload again. Second attempt took another three days to process. Total time from first application to approval: almost a week. Now I take passport photos against a pure white wall with good lighting. Not worth the delay.
