These Terms of Use apply to checkvietnamvisastatus.com and to the visa assistance services you can order through it. Please read them before you use the site or place an order. By using the site or ordering a service you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are

2. We are not the government
We are an independent, private service. We are not the Vietnam Immigration Department, a Vietnamese embassy or any other government body, and we are not affiliated with them. You can apply for a Vietnam e-visa yourself on the official portal evisa.gov.vn and pay only the government fee. Our services cost more than the government fee because they include our assistance and, where you choose it, faster handling.
3. What we offer
- Free information. Guides on checking your e-visa status, reading the approval letter and what the different stages mean. This information is general guidance, not legal advice, and rules can change — the official portal and the immigration authorities always have the final word.
- Paid visa assistance. Preparing and submitting a new e-visa application for you at the processing speed you choose, and help with an application you have already submitted (for example a request to speed it up). Orders are placed and paid through our secure application form at vietnamvisahelp.com, which forms part of our service.
4. Prices and payment
The price of each service is shown on the application form before you pay, per applicant, and states what it includes (our service fee and, where included, the government fee). Payment is taken in full when you order, by card through our payment provider Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
5. Processing times and outcome
Processing times are counted from the moment we receive a complete application and are our best estimate based on current handling by the authorities. The decision to grant a visa is made only by the Vietnam Immigration Department, and entry into Vietnam is decided by the border officer on arrival. We cannot guarantee approval, a specific issue time, or entry. Where a service page makes a specific promise — for example a refund if an escalation is not possible — that promise applies as written.
Please do not buy non-refundable travel on the assumption that a visa will be issued by a certain time.
6. Your responsibilities
- Give complete and correct information and documents: your details must match your passport exactly, and the passport must be valid for at least six months after your entry date.
- Check the approval letter as soon as you receive it and tell us straight away if anything is wrong.
- Use the site lawfully: no automated scraping, no attempts to disrupt it, and no content that is abusive or infringes the rights of others.
We are not responsible for a refusal, a delay or an incorrect visa caused by information you gave us.
7. Cancellations and refunds
- Full refund if you cancel before we submit your application, if your application fails because of our mistake, or if you were charged twice.
- Service fee refund (the government fee cannot be returned once paid to the authorities) if you cancel after submission but before a decision, or if processing takes much longer than promised for reasons within our control.
- No refund once your visa has been issued and sent to you, if you change your travel plans, if the authorities refuse or delay the application for reasons related to the applicant, or if you are refused entry at the border.
To ask for a refund, write to [email protected] with your order e-mail and the reason. We reply within 48 hours; approved refunds reach your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
8. If you live in the EU or the UK
You have a right to withdraw from a service contract within 14 days without giving a reason. Because visa applications are time-critical, when you order you ask us to start straight away. If you withdraw before the service is complete we refund you, minus a proportionate amount for the work already done (for example the government fee already paid). Once the service has been fully performed — your visa has been issued — the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
9. How we communicate
We answer by e-mail, live chat and WhatsApp. We aim to reply to every message within 15 minutes, day and night. Our replies may be prepared with the help of automated tools; a member of our team can take over any conversation at any time.
10. Liability
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for losses caused by decisions of the authorities, by events outside our control, or by information you provided, nor for indirect losses such as missed flights or hotel costs. Our total liability for a service is limited to the amount you paid us for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Content and links
The texts and design of this site belong to us; you may share links to it and quote short passages with a link back. Links to other websites are provided for convenience — we do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
12. Complaints and applicable law
If something went wrong, write to us first — most problems are solved within a day. These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence, and you may bring a complaint to your national consumer body or the courts where you live.
13. Changes
We may update these terms, for example when our services or the law change. The version published on this page on the day you place an order applies to that order.
