When to use this service

This is for travellers who have already submitted an e-visa application on the official Vietnam Immigration portal and are waiting. Your registration code is valid, the application is somewhere in the queue, and your travel date is close. We take your existing case and push it through the official review queue so it’s issued within 24 hours instead of the usual 3–7 business days.

  • Your flight is in the next 1–3 days
  • Your portal status reads Submitted or Processing
  • You don’t want to re-apply and lose the $25 fee you already paid
  • You already have your registration code from the portal

How the escalation works

  1. You fill in the form above. Your port of entry and the speed you need, then for each traveller the full name, the registration code from the evisa.gov.vn confirmation email and the email address used on that application.
  2. You pay when you submit. From $69 per applicant, depending on the speed you choose. Payment is taken by card at checkout, straight after the form, so work on your case starts immediately.
  3. We escalate through official channels. We check your case within 30 minutes of payment and flag it for priority review. Your existing registration code stays valid — nothing is re-submitted.
  4. You receive the approval email within 24 hours, or sooner if you picked a faster speed. The approval letter comes from the official portal, identical to a normal approval. Print it and travel.
Important: We cannot force approval on an application that would otherwise be rejected (e.g. passport photo issues, name mismatches, restricted nationality combinations). If we find a blocking issue when we review your case, we tell you immediately and refund the escalation fee in full.

Can you expedite a Vietnam visa on the government website?

No. The official e-visa portal at evisa.gov.vn is a single-speed service: you pay the government fee (about US$25 for single entry, US$50 for multiple entry) and the stated processing time is around three working days, often five in peak season. There is no paid express option on the portal at any price, and immigration officers only work Vietnamese business hours, Monday to Friday — a Friday-night submission may not move until Monday, and gaps around Tet are longer.

That is why expediting a Vietnam visa means escalating the application you already lodged, not buying a faster lane on the portal. Your registration code stays valid and nothing is re-submitted; your file is flagged for priority review through official channels.

Why an e-visa gets stuck in “Processing”

Most applications that sit for days have nothing wrong with them — they are simply in the queue. Some, though, are held back by something in the file. These are the usual reasons:

  • A blurry, cropped or glare-covered passport scan
  • A photo that isn’t front-facing on a plain white background
  • Name, date of birth or passport number not matching the passport exactly
  • Less than six months of passport validity after entry
  • A submission over a weekend or public holiday
  • Duplicate applications for the same passport submitted in parallel

When we review your case after payment we look for exactly these. If one of them would block approval, we tell you straight away and refund the escalation fee in full — escalation buys priority, not a different decision.

Common Questions

How much does it cost to expedite a Vietnam visa?

Our escalation fee is per applicant and depends on how fast you need it: 48 hours USD 69, 24 hours USD 99, 12 hours USD 139, 4 hours USD 159, 2 hours USD 189, 1 hour USD 209 — the same at every port of entry. The government fee you already paid on the portal is separate and is not charged again.

Does paying to expedite improve my chances of approval?

No. Expediting buys queue priority, not a better decision. Approval still depends on a clean passport scan, a compliant photo and details that match your passport exactly. If your file has a blocking problem we tell you before we escalate and refund the fee.

Is this an official government service?

No — we are not the Vietnamese government. We are a processing facilitator that works with official partners to escalate stuck applications through legitimate priority-review channels. Your approval letter itself is the same official document you would receive through normal processing.

What if the application is denied anyway?

If we find a blocker when we review your case (see the note above), or the case is still denied despite a clean file, we refund our escalation fee in full. The original $25 government fee is non-refundable — that’s controlled by the Immigration Department, not us.

Can I expedite multiple applicants at once?

Yes. The fee is from $69 per applicant, depending on the speed you choose. Add each traveller in the form above with “Add another traveler” and we process them in parallel.

How do I know my registration code?

It’s in the confirmation email you received immediately after submitting on the official portal. The subject typically contains “Vietnam Electronic Visa” or “E-visa application”. The code itself is usually a letter followed by digits.

Does this work if my portal says “Not Granted”?

No. If your application has already been refused, escalation is not possible — the file is closed. You would need to submit a new application with corrected details. We can help with that as a standard fast-track service (see the speed-tier options on the status page).
